The most recent Samsung Galaxy S8 leak has revealed its potential colour variants, price range and shipping dates.

From the beginning of 2017, Evan Blass, mobile reporter at American technology website VentureBeat, has been releasing several leaks about the highly anticipated Samsung Galaxy S8. His new leak reveals what seems like Samsung Galaxy S8’s official images featuring its three new colour variants: Black Sky, Orchid Grey and Arctic Silver.

He also revealed Samsung Galaxy S8’s tentative price. According to his latest tweets, in Europe, its retail price is expected to be €799 (approx. AED 3,000) while S8+ is set at €899 (approx. AED 3,500). He speculated prices of S8 accessories as: the DeX docking station (€150; approx. AED 600), new GearVR headset (€129; approx. AED 500), and Gear 360 camera (€229; approx. AED 900).

His first leak back in January featured the very first images of the device. It also mentioned specifications and shipping dates.

Rumoured specifications of the Samsung Galaxy S8:

  • Display: 5.8-inch (S8) and 6.2-inch (S8+) QHD AMOLED display

  • Cameras: Rear camera- 12MP f/1.7, Front Camera- 8MP f/1.7

  • Processor: Snapdragon 835 or Samsung Exynos (varies by the market)

  • Storage: 64GB with microSD expansion

  • Memory: 4GB

  • Battery: 3000mAh (5.8-inch model) or 3500mAh (6.2-inch model)

  • Other specs: headphone jack, USB Type-C and water resistancy

Early rumours speculated a late-February launch, but according to latest buzz, the launch date is expected to be March 29 with shipping enabled from April 21 onwards.
